Free education at Yale, Stanford, Harvard /?
Stanford Research I read in a textbook (newspaper articles university and a pair) that Stanford is the elimination of tuition for students whose parents make less than the $ 100.00. Yale is that students whose parents are less than $ 60,000 to Harvard gives more financial aid. I am applying to Stanford, Yale and eventually Harvard. I'm in the top 5 percent of my class and take the AP courses next year (to increase my GPA) I a 3.95 GPA now. I'm running for class vice president, working in the library, I worked on the campaign of President Obama I in a community service program. And I'm also the copy editor of school yearbook. I have not taken my SAT and still operate, but I'm in advanced math classes and I am a good tester. I want to major in political science. My parents make less than $ 60,000, is bad my chance of getting into these schools and I really dropped out of school? thanks:]
No, do not hurt your chances of getting in. Admissions makes decisions, then people in terms of financial assistance to the form FAFSA, but do so independently of admission decisions. What usually provides financial assistance through grants replaced by loans might otherwise have purchased. And yes, if you meet the criteria, not really afford the fees. Note, however, that most schools, if family income is low enough to qualify for scholarships, you get those anyway. These programs benefit the majority of families earning between 50 and 100K, which another way to borrow. You may also want to implement in other schools, because even if you have revealed a relatively strong balance sheet, competition by the three schools you mention it is incredibly difficult, and only the most prominent candidates please OPA means perfect, perfect SAT scores, and extracurricular activities very unusual. You really need one or two students from high school to be considered, and my high school, 5% would have been 50 people!
