California residency for tuition?
I grew up in California, went to school, attended community college, but I took a break from my studies to volunteer in the Philippines for a few years. I realize that I have lost my right to resident tuition, but you can explore and claim residency after one year (of course, keep a job and pay taxes during this period)?
In theory, yes, but see with the Office of the Secretary – some states (like North Carolina) in May denying resident tuition, even if you are a resident technically, if there are only for school.
